OPEN DAY TODAY

The Litten Nature Reserve will be open to the public from 1pm to 5pm today (Sunday 5th June 2011).  All are welcome.  The Litten was the first designated nature reserve in the London Borough of Ealing.  It boasts mature woodland, meadow, a number of ponds and the last wetland area in the borough.  An onsite classroom acts as a meeting place for local community groups and environmental learning space for local schools.

The summer open day at the Litten takes place three weeks today.  Come and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of this local nature reserve, free of charge, and enjoy a series of activities including a guided nature walk, nature trail, planting and stalls from other local and national conservation organisations.

OPEN DAY - SUNDAY 5th JUNE 2011

The Friends of the Litten Nature Reserve will hold an open day on Sunday 5th June 2011 between 13:00 and 17:00.  Activities will include guided tours of the reserve, it's flora and fauna, seed planting and a nature trail.  Stalls representing local and national nature groups will present various aspects of conservation and refreshments will be available.  Watch this space for further details.
